There are many tools available in Volunteer member accounts.  Make the most of your membership. To access the VolunteerMatch Tools, simply login to your account.  From there, you can take advantage of all of the features below.

Manage Personal Account

Many tools are available to help you utilize the VolunteerMatch service.

View Referral History

Use this tool to view your past referrals, including the opportunity title, your signup date, the opportunity start date, and a link to the nonprofit administrator.

Upload Volunteer Resume

Share your volunteer experience with a nonprofit! With one easy click, upload your volunteer experiences to be sent as an attachment to the nonprofit you have expressed interest in volunteering for.

Edit Personal Profile

The contact information listed here is used to pre-populate your referral form when you sign up for an opportunity.

Customize Opportunity Alert Preferences

You can sign up for Opportunity Alerts that provide you with upcoming volunteer opportunities in your area.  You can designate the types of volunteer opportunities you are interested in, the frequency of email delivery and the ZIP code for where you would like to volunteer.  Click 'Customize Opportunity Alert Preferences', update your preferences and click 'Save'.

Find A Great Place to Volunteer

Locate volunteer opportunity and nonprofit organization listings in your area.

Group Invitations

Invite a group to volunteer with you!  First, find an opportunity that is great for groups.  Using the Advanced Search, enter your ZIP code and check the 'Groups' box. click 'Search' to locate group-friendly volunteer opportunities in your area. After you find an opportunity you are interested in, click 'Invite a Group'.  Complete the information to send an invitation to your participants.

As individuals respond to your invitation, their information will be sent automatically to the nonprofit organization that posted the listing.  In your account, you can see who has accepted your invitation, who has declined, and who has not yet replied.  As a courtesy, please confirm the total number of your group with the nonprofit organization prior to volunteering.

Adopt-A-ZIP

You can help support the work of VolunteerMatch by sponsoring volunteerism in local communities with Adopt-A-ZIP.  When users search for opportunities within a given ZIP code, their search results include a customized banner at the top of the page with a personal message from the ZIP code sponsor.

If you are interested in adopting a ZIP code, you can do so by doing an opportunity search in the ZIP code you want.  If the ZIP has already been adopted, you can click the 'What's this?' link below the banner to begin a search for available ZIP codes.  If the ZIP is still available, a message on the banner will let you know it can be adopted and you can click right through the banner to customize your message.  Registered account holders can also go to the 'Adopt-A-ZIP' search tool on your My Account page.
